LAW FIRM IN LOGROÑO · ONLINE CONSULTATIONS ACROSS SPAIN

Appeals against immigration and nationality refusals

Have you received a refusal, a closure decision or a request for documents? We review the complete notice and notification date to assess the next steps, in Logroño or online across Spain.

Consultations in Spanish and Romanian. For consultations in English, please contact us first to confirm how we can help.

We start by understanding your situation

A refusal, a request for documents and an unanswered application call for different assessments. We examine the reasons, evidence and procedural stage before recommending an appeal or another step.

Unfavourable decisions

Assessment of residence, renewal and nationality refusals, closure decisions and other decisions affecting an application.

Requests and representations

We check what the authority requests and the evidence for a response. A request for documents is not itself a refusal.

Administrative and court routes

We assess the appropriate challenge and, where relevant, judicial review and interim measures.

How we work on your application

  1. We check the full decision, notification and case history to establish deadlines.
  2. We compare the reasons with the application and evidence, explaining options and limitations.
  3. We agree the scope, fees, proposed action and follow-up in writing.

Frequently asked questions

What should I do when I receive a refusal?

Keep the complete decision and proof of notification. Contact us promptly with the dates, procedure and any appeal already filed. Do not delay getting in touch while collecting secondary documents.

How long do I have to appeal?

We establish the deadline from the decision, notification and procedure. There is no single period for every case. If it is close, call before booking an appointment for a later day.

Are reposición, alzada and court proceedings the same?

No. The route depends on whether the administrative stage is exhausted and on the applicable rules; we identify the appropriate procedure.

Does an appeal automatically suspend the decision?

Generally, an administrative appeal does not suspend enforcement. We assess whether to request suspension or interim measures.

Can I submit new evidence or make another application?

We assess the evidence, when it became available and the suitable option. We do not recommend repeating an application without first examining the refusal reasons.

Does a request for documents mean a refusal?

They are different. We check what is requested, how to respond and the deadline rather than treat it as an unfavourable decision.

Can you guarantee a successful appeal?

No. We explain the options, difficulties and proposed work. The authority or court makes the decision.

Can I consult online and what does it cost?

We can assess the case remotely. Fees, the appeal scope and any other costs, such as a procedural representative or court fees where applicable, are agreed before work begins. Booking does not automatically charge for these services.

Clear services and fees

Before starting, we agree the scope of the work and our fees. We explain any applicable administrative fees, translations or other separate expenses.
